Do you have hay fever?
It is getting warm recently in Tokyo.
So some persons already feel pollen spreads.
I don’t have heavy hay fever.
But I recently sneeze often.

Today I would like to introduce some phrases to describe illness in Japanese.
Let’s get started.

When you feel sick during a trip, you can purchase some drugs at a drug store.
Here are some useful expressions to describe your illness.

Atama Ga Itai Desu
(あたまがいたいです。)
I have a headache.

It is easy to describe having a pain in somewhere.
A Ga Itai Desu(Aがいたいです。)” is a basic form.
Here A is a part you have a pain.

Nodo Ga Itai Desu
(のどがいたいです。)
I have a sore throat.

Kata Ga Itai Desu
(かたがいたいです。)
I have a sore shoulder.s

I Ga Itai Desu
(いがいたいです。)
I have a stomachache.

Ha Ga Itai Desu
(はがいたいです。)
I have a toothache.

When you have some symptom of illness,
you can describe “A Ga Arimasu(Aがあります。)”
Here A is a symptom of illness.

Netu Ga Arimasu
(ねつがあります。)
I have a fever.

Hakike Ga Arimasu
(はきけがあります。)
I feel like throwing up.

Memai Ga Arimasu
(めまいがあります。)
I have dizziness.

Tsukare Ga Arimasu
(つかれがあります。)
I feel tired.

Hanazumari Ga Arimasu
(はなずまりがあります。)
I have a stuffy nose.

Here are other important expressions.

Karada Ga Darui Desu
(からだがだるいです。)
I feel sluggish.

Hanamizu Ga Demasu
(はなみずがでます。)
I have a running nose.

Seki Ga Demasu
(せきがでます。)
I have a cough.

Kushami Ga Demasu
(くしゃみがでます。)
I sneeze.

Shokuyoku Ga Arimasen
(しょくよくがありません。)
I don’t have any appetite.

Hutsukayoi Desu
(ふつかよいです。)
I got a hangover.
