And also making a reservation saves your time.
Some restaurants have English speakers.
So at first you check the availability of English speakers.
Yoyaku Wo Shitai Desu
(よやくをしたいです。)
I would like to make a reservation.
Eigo Ga Hanaseru Hito Wa Imasu Ka
(えいごがはなせるひとはいますか。)
Do you have a English speaker?
Hai Imasu
(はい。います。)
Yes, we have.
Iie Imasen
(いいえ。いません。)
No, we don’t have.
When there are not English speakers, you try to use the following phrases.
Itu No Yoyaku Desu Ka
(いつのよやくですか。)
For when?
Kyou No Yoyaku Wo Shitai Desu
(きょうのよやくをしたいです。)
I would like to make a reservation for today.
Asu No Yoyaku Wo Shitai Desu
(あすのよやくをしたいです。)
I would like to make a reservation for tomorrow.
Konban No Yoyaku Wo Shitai Desu
(こんばんのよやくをしたいです。)
I would like to make a reservation for tonight.
Yoru 7(Shichi) Ji No Yoyaku Wo Shitai Desu
(よる7(しち)じのよやくをしたいです。)
I would like to make a reservation at 7 pm.
Here ” Noun + No (の)” is used to qualify the reservation.
“Noun + No(の)” expression is introduced here.
Nannin No Yoyaku Desu Ka
(なんにんのよやくですか。)
For how many people?
Hitori No Yoyaku Desu
(ひとりのよやくです。)
For one person.
Gonin No Yoyaku Desu
(5にん(ごにん)のよやくです。)
For the party of 5.
