Casual Tempura Dining Area in Tokyo

Japanese Gourmet

Hi, this is Yuyujin.
Today I introduce a casual Tempura Dining Area in Tokyo.

Tempra is very popular with visitors from oversea.
Tempra is shrimp and vegetables that have been covered in batter and fried in oil.
Basically Tempura is a high-class meal.
So if you have them in a good restaurant, the chef will cook tempura in front of you.

The restaurant that I introduce today is a casual Tempura bowl dining area.
It is “Shinjyuku Tunahaci”.
It is a good tempura restaurant.
You can eat tempura in front of a tempura chef.
But the restaurant has a casual dining area in front of it.

They serve Tendon there.
Tendon, Tempura bowl, is a rice bowl with tempura.
Tendon is a sweet soy sauce flavor.

Okonomi Tendon/お好み天丼

This tendon has shrimp, fish and vegetable tempura.
The menu has only 3 kinds of tendon.
The size and the ingredients are a little different.
Okonomi Tendon/お好み天丼, the cheapest one, is good enough.

Tokujyo Tendon/特上天丼

Access

Shinjyuku Tunahachi is located at west side of Shinjyuku Station.
The Shinjyuku station is complicated, so you had better use Google map.
This restaurant is located on the ground floor.
