This park is divided into 30 sections, each preserving the essence of Musashino, and features attractions such as the Rose Garden, Azalea Grove and Plum Orchard. In addition, the park underwent a renovation in 2016, which included the reopening of a grand greenhouse.

Rose Garden

Let’s start with the Rose Garden. During spring, you can admire 409 varieties and 5,200 blooming roses, while in autumn, you can enjoy 300 varieties and 5,000 beautiful roses. Access

As for access, you can reach Jindai Botanical Gardens conveniently from the Keio Line and JR Chuo Line. If you are taking the Keio Line, you can take a Odakyu or Keio bus from Chofu Station (bus stop 12) heading to Kichijoji Station or Mitaka Station, and alight at “Jindai Shokubutsu Koen Mae.” Alternatively, you can take a Keio bus from bus stop 11 to “Jindai Shokubutsu Koen” bound for Jindaiji Temple. From Tsutsujigaoka Station North Exit, you can take a Keio bus bound for Jindaiji Temple and alight at “Jindai Shokubutsu Koen.” If you are coming from the JR Chuo Line, you can take an Odakyu bus from Mitaka Station (bus stop 2) or Kichijoji Station (bus stop 4) heading to Chofu Station North Exit or Jindaiji Temple, and alight at “Jindai Shokubutsu Koen Mae.”

Jindai Botanical Gardens offers a parking area for those who prefer to visit by car.
