Hi, this is Yuyujin.
Today I went to the Hanegi Park that was near Umegaoka Station of Odakyu Line.
The Hanegi Park is famous for Plum trees.
A plum festival was held at Hanegi Park.
You can enjoy plum blossoms and also some Japanese food.

We can see some plum trees are already blooming.
Spring is coming!
In Tokyo, you can enjoy plum blossoms before the cherry blossoms bloom.
Strolling| 散策
At Hanegi Park, you can enjoy a walk while watching plum blossoms and cherry blossoms in spring.
Row of cherry blossom trees| 桜並木
Please note that you cannot enjoy plums and cherry blossoms at the same time because the seasons are slightly different.
The best time to see the cherry blossoms is as short as one to two weeks.
Ginkgo row of trees| 銀杏並木
In autumn, you can enjoy the rows of ginkgo trees that are colored yellow.
Athletic field| 運動場
In addition to flowers and trees, Hanegi Park has a playground.
Children enjoy swings and slides, and adults enjoy baseball and tennis.
There is also a ground where you can play baseball.
Access
Hanegi Park is a 5-minute walk from Umegaoka Station on the Odakyu Line.
Umegaoka Station is about 10 minutes from Shinjuku on the Odakyu Line.
On the opposite side of Umegaoka Station from Hanegi Park, there is a famous Midori Sushi main store and a store where you can take out.
Midori Sushi is a good sushi restaurant.
It has tasty Sushi with reasonable price and with volume.
It’s good to take out and have lunch at Hanegi Park, or stop by the main store on the way back from Hanegi Park.
